The detial really was quite amazing.

Yup, a lot worse. A fine finish to a fine meal. Subtly smokey honey coats your mouth as you sip and enjoy. Tranquil.

In fact this is the first time I have tried snails. Quite nice, cooked in garlic butter and then spooned into a crispy vol-au-vent. The garlic was not overpowering. All around delectable.

Nice beer in San Jose, local micro brewery I believe, very reminiscent of a Belgian Triple.

Yes, it was freezing but the fragrant harbour is not quite so fragrant near the water. Quite lovely, really…
